Frankia at CMT 2026

Frankia presents the Platin Final Edition range at the 2026 edition of CMT Stuttgart (17-25 January): the German manufacturer puts this series in the spotlight, as it represents the ultimate distillation of the premium solutions that have, over time, made the Platin models such a success. Today Frankia offers a varied range, with proposals of all types, yet the Platin series remains a benchmark. The Frankia Platin high-end motorhomes were first presented in 2014 and have since been updated. They have won over the public with elegant design, comprehensive equipment and a keen eye for technology. With the Platin Final Edition series, the German manufacturer continues along this path, amplifying its strengths: powerful and robust Mercedes-Benz mechanics, maximum energy autonomy thanks to high-capacity batteries and the use of solar panels, as well as considerable water tank capacity. The rear-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mechanical base is offered in the 5.5-tonne configuration, namely the Sprinter 519 CDI, with a 2-litre 190 hp engine and a homologated gross weight of 5,500 kg, thus offering high on-road power together with substantial load capacity. The various Platin Final Edition models come as standard with lithium batteries totalling 420 Ah and three 110 W solar panels each, with the option of fitting a fourth solar panel on the roof. In addition, there is an inverter, allowing various 230 V appliances to be connected. The interiors showcase an exclusive, elegant design, with signature details. The living areas have been redesigned to offer greater comfort and a more striking visual impact. The kitchens, fitted with an elegant and sturdy HPL laminate worktop, feature an efficient cooking unit with two well-separated burners, an oven and a 160-litre compressor fridge. There are three Frankia Platin Final Edition models: Platin Final Edition I 7900 GD, Platin Pure Final Edition I 7400 GD and Platin Pure Final Edition I 7400 Plus. Let's start with the largest, the Platin Final Edition I 7900 GD: it measures 807 cm in length and offers genuinely spacious interiors. At the front, it provides a generous face-to-face dinette with opposing sofas, while at the rear we find twin beds, preceded by the through-bathroom with separate shower. The kitchen is very well developed. The Platin Pure Final Edition I 7400 GD has slightly smaller dimensions, with a length of 776 cm: here too we find rear twin beds and the bathroom with separate shower, but at the front there is an L-shaped dinette plus a small sofa. However, the face-to-face dinette is still available as an option. It is also possible to have two single drop-down beds at the front.
