VB-Airsuspension and Euro Suspension will be presenting their newest developments at Il Salone Del Camper in Parma from 10 until 18 September. On the booth of VB-Airsuspension (Hall 2, stand H032), visitors can see for example the half and half model (Fiat Ducato X290 cab with a part-original Fiat Ducato chassis and part low AL-KO AMC chassis) with VB-FullAir. For this Fiat Ducato X290, VB-Airsuspension developed for the original chassis a total new VB-FullAir kit. On the same booth, also the Euro Suspension company will be introduced, who are producing basic auxiliary air suspension systems.
The basic auxiliary air suspension systems from Euro Suspension, named EuroAir, are developed in collaboration with air suspension specialist VB-Airsuspension. EuroAir gives the possibility to adjust, within limits, the suspension manually. On a vehicle with leaf springs, an air spring is fitted between chassis and rear axle. This air spring supports the existing leaf spring. The EuroAir kit is supplied as a dual chamber system, the air springs are not in connection with each other. Making use of a dual chamber system allows left and right to be separately adjusted. EuroAir therefore has two inflation valves, enabling the vehicle to be levelled – even when it is loaded unevenly. A big advantage of EuroAir is that the kits are designed as “one kit fits all”. The kit fits on the following chassis types (Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer):

This basic system is the starting point for the modification and improvement of the suspension on a vehicle.
Total new VB-FullAir kit for X290 chassis
VB-Airsuspension has also developed a total new VB-FullAir kit for the familiar X290 chassis (Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer). Many modern motorhomes are built on this chassis. The air suspension for this model has been improved on several points compared to its predecessor and is already checked and approved by the TÜV. This new set comes standard with an air tank, which allows the vehicle to raise or lower faster. One of the biggest improvements of this set is that it weighs less than the previous version. Other advantages of this new developed system are a constant ride height, increased comfort, optimum driveability, increased stability, reduced wear of tyres/brakes and lower CO2 emissions.
