The revolutionary Teleco Ultra Comfort 6000 wins the prestigious European Innovation Award 2025

The revolutionary Teleco Ultra Comfort 6000, the world’s first air conditioner specifically designed for easy installation on campervans with pop-up roofs, has won the prestigious European Innovation Award 2025. This accolade, organised by the German DoldeMedien Verlag and now in its 15th edition, celebrates innovation and excellence in the caravanning sector, rewarding products that enhance leisure time in a sustainable and pioneering way. “This important award, dedicated to the most innovative solutions, highlights Teleco’s commitment to developing cutting-edge products that enhance comfort and efficiency for caravanning enthusiasts,” said Vittorio Simioli, one of the owners of the Teleco Group. “The Ultra Comfort 6000 is the result of years of research and development. It represents a revolution in onboard air conditioning for camper vans, offering significant benefits for any vehicle of up to six-and-a-half metres in length, and also enabling installation even on vehicles with pop-up roofs”. Here are the reasons why the jury decided to award the prize to Teleco: “The Ultra Comfort 6000 is an innovative air conditioner developed for campervans with pop-up roofs, but it can also be installed on semiintegrated vehicles (such as Stellantis series 7, 8, and 9) up to six-and-a-half meters in length. Its unique feature is that the external unit is installed in the vehicle's engine compartment, while the diffuser is centrally positioned under the dashboard. This completely eliminates the need to use the roof. Additionally, the device can function both as an air conditioner and a heater thanks to heat pump technology, offering further space savings. This innovative solution marks a breakthrough in the world of air conditioners for recreational vehicles. It delivers high performance without occupying the roof or sacrificing a skylight.” The European Innovation Award 2025 recognised excellence in 17 different categories, evaluated by a jury composed of the editors of leading European industry magazines, as well as influencers and bloggers in the caravanning sector. The award ceremony took place in January 2025 during the CMT show in Stuttgart, the world’s largest public trade fair for tourism and leisure. With this recognition, Teleco reaffirms its position as a leader in innovation within the caravanning sector, striving to enhance the quality of life and travel experience for its customers.
