Mobilvetta has chosen Europe's leading trade event to present its new flagship model: at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf 2026, the brand-new K-Yacht Tekno Design 79 was showcased, representing the state of the art for the Italian manufacturer. With this vehicle, Mobilvetta undoubtedly makes an original entry into the luxury motorhome segment: the new K-Yacht Tekno Design 79 features an interior style inspired by contemporary home design, along with high-end standard technological equipment.

We are talking about a motorhome measuring 758 cm in length and 235 cm in width, built on a Fiat Ducato mechanical base with an AL-KO heavy chassis rated at 4.5 tonnes gross, and a 2.2-litre 180 hp engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. From a construction standpoint, we note the through double floor. At the rear it features a spacious garage compartment. Externally, the prototype was presented in an eye-catching dark grey, but future variations are possible. The door handles are flush with the bodywork and the awning is fitted as standard.

The interior furnishing style is perhaps what most defines this new Mobilvetta model. It is based on clean lines, warm colours and sophisticated tones of grey and taupe, but we also note high-quality materials and, no less importantly, dramatic lighting with a light-intensity adjustment system, which allows you to personalise the atmosphere of the space with a “chromotherapy” effect.

The buyer can personalise the space by choosing from six different upholstery options. We can note the backlit floral-patterned wall of the refrigerator unit and the linear design of the overhead lockers, with flat doors and no visible handles.

The layout features a face-to-face dinette at the front, which makes the space feel very open, partly due to the absence of the upper drop-down bed (it is not even available as an option, but the sofa converts into a bed). The overhead lockers run parallel all the way towards the windscreen, ideally blending into the large upper skylight that brightens the space. A 32” smart TV and a Wi-Fi router are offered as standard.

The rear area features a comfortable double bedroom with a 2-metre-long island bed, flanked by two hanging wardrobes. Beneath the bed, in addition to the garage, there is a valuable storage compartment accessible by lifting the bed itself.

The bedroom is preceded by a through bathroom, which acts as an interesting buffer zone. The washbasin is positioned centrally, while on either side we find the toilet and the shower cubicle. An important element is the kitchen, which features an acrylic stone worktop and a wooden sink cover.

It is worth noting that the worktop can be extended with a multipurpose steel shelf. Not to be missed is the vertically moving equipped wall with a backlit floral-patterned panel. The drawers have centralised locking. The large 174-litre compressor refrigerator is concealed in the wall, and the door contains a pantry.

The philosophy behind the Mobilvetta K-Yacht Tekno Design is clear: everything comes as standard. So not only the 180 hp engine and the automatic transmission, but also the digital rear-view mirrors, two 200 W solar panels, two 170 Ah lithium batteries and the 2000 W inverter. We note the presence of the Alde diesel “dual-zone” heating with engine heat exchanger. The water system tanks are well protected within the heated double floor.

The safety and driver assistance package includes lane support system, traffic sign recognition, driver drowsiness detection, intelligent speed assist and advanced emergency braking system. There is also an automatic cab air conditioner. The price for Italy is being finalised: the prototype exhibited at the Caravan Salon (VAT is lower in Germany) has a base price of 144,900 euros.
