Le Voyageur introduces the Liner with LCI® Euro Slide

Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI®), a leading producer of innovative slide-out systems for leisure vehicles, has supplied its lastest development in the slide out range, the “Euro Slide”, to Le Voyageur, a French brand part of Groupe Pilote. At the Salon des Vehicules de Loisir 2016 held in Paris in September, Le Voyageur introduced the Lippert Components “Euro Slide” slide-out system from on its premium motorhome model “Liner”. The prototype showcased was full furnished and equipped with a slide-out system on the side wall: the slide out is 3 meters long and can extend for 50 centimeters. In the future, Le Voyageur aims to compliment the slide-out extension with awnings in order to prevent snow or debris accumulation at the top of the room. The Liner range is built in collaboration with the German manufacturer RMB, another brand belonging to the Group Pilote, who produces the chassis while Le Voyageur is in charge of interiors and assembling. 
“During the Salon des Vehicules de Loisir we collected the extremely positive feedback from our users and we can say that this model will be the main guide for our development projects from now on” - says Gilles Lavandier, Production Site Manager for Le Voyageur and RMB - “We will let the user choose the interior layout and we can predict the launch of the Liner model equipped with slide-out by the end of 2017. Our sales perspectives expect to supply about a dozen vehicles per year.

We started to collaborate with several European OEMs and soon the slide-out system won’t be unusual on European RVs”.
