At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (CSD), more than 600 national and international exhibitors from the camping industry presented their novelties in recreational vehicles and accessories in 13 halls and on the outdoor area. At the very beginning of the first weekend of the trade fair, the CSD registered 80,000 guests who were able to obtain comprehensive information about the latest news on camping. Over the entire period until 8 September, 268,000 people visited the world's largest camping fair - a record number (in 2018 there were 250,000 visitors). And, it was also a record CSD for Knaus Tabbert GmbH: the company again increased its sales compared to last year - which was also a record year.
The camping industry is booming like never before. The same applies to the demand for Knaus Tabbert products: In the Knaus Tabbert Hall 4, at MORELO in Hall 5 as well as at the KNAUS and WEINSBERG CUVs in Hall 15, numerous trade fair visitors - from caravan beginners to enthusiastic long-time campers - were full of anticipation Purchase contract of their new vehicle.

In the interior, it impresses with dark wood, a unique ceiling cabinet construction, a new, exquisite lighting concept and an optional voice control.
The T@B, drop-shaped caravan in retro design, had a colorful area in the Knaus Tabbert Hall 4, in which his own superhero "T@BMAN" attracted many guests. Last but not least, MORELO impressed with the newly designed models HOME and LOFT. Modern and luxurious, they also offer extra storage space. In addition, MORELO continues to focus on safety: all model series can now be equipped with a safety package that includes an emergency brake assistant, among other things.
The rental brand RENT AND TRAVEL also presented itself at the Caravan Salon, which now works together with more than 360 travel agencies and provides more than 1900 rental motorhomes and CUVs. In addition, caravans can be rented from the 2020 season.
The extraordinary show cars KNAUS L!VE I and WEINSBERG The CORE showed what is creatively feasible in motorhome construction. And the Knaus Tabbert innovation area also provided exciting insights: visitors were able to find out more about the water filter system standard on all vehicles, the new rear carrier including trailer hitch, and a practical head-up display. In addition, Knaus Tabbert demonstrated its cooperation with Bosch Engineering in a separate area: the development of an intelligent 48-volt vehicle electrical system, which allows autonomous self-contained camping thanks to its independent power supply.
