Boma Tech looks to the future

With BOMA GEMINI, your motorhome's alarm system is in your smartphone

Boma Tech, for 2027 comes BOMA GEMINI: the motorhome's anti-theft system is controlled from your smartphone

The security of recreational vehicles is becoming increasingly digital. Boma Tech introduces BOMA GEMINI, the app developed by Gemini Technologies to manage the compatible security devices installed on your motorhome directly from your smartphone.

Technology is becoming ever more a part of the motorhome owner's daily life and, among the functions that can make a difference in using a recreational vehicle, there is also the management of the anti-theft system. It is in this context that BOMA GEMINI fits in, the new application developed by Gemini Technologies for BOMA Tech, designed to make the relationship between the motorhome owner and the on-board security system simpler and more immediate.
The app is available for Android and iPhone devices and allows you to interact with compatible Gemini systems through a Bluetooth connection. It is therefore not a remote control system via the cellular network or the Internet: the smartphone communicates directly with the device when it is within its communication range. An important technical detail, but also a choice aimed at ease of use.

A digital remote control for the security system
The concept behind BOMA GEMINI is straightforward: to use your smartphone as an interface for the main functions of the anti-theft system, avoiding having to rely exclusively on the traditional remote control.

According to what is officially stated by Gemini Technologies, the user can use the app to arm, disarm or partially arm the alarm system, as well as access the maintenance mode. It is also possible to consult the event history and manage the radio devices associated with the system.
For the motorhome owner, the advantage lies above all in the possibility of bringing together various functions within a single digital interface. A solution that can prove particularly practical during ordinary daily operations: from accessing the vehicle to maintenance activities, through to managing the alarm when the motorhome is left temporarily unattended.

Not just for those using the motorhome
BOMA GEMINI has not been designed exclusively for the vehicle owner. The app in fact also integrates a section dedicated to installers, who can use it to configure the system more quickly and intuitively.
Among the available functions are the selection of the vehicle on which the device is installed, the configuration of operating parameters, the pairing of radio devices and the final test of the system after installation. The aim is therefore to support not only the daily use of the anti-theft system, but also the installation and configuration phases.

A technology designed for motorhome security
The proposal fits into the wider range of Boma Tech solutions dedicated to the security of recreational vehicles. The company in fact offers alarm systems, trackers and other devices intended to protect motorhomes and motor caravans.
To use BOMA GEMINI you need a Gemini device equipped with a Bluetooth interface, available through the network of authorised BOMA Tech dealers. Moreover, not all systems necessarily offer the same functions: the official documentation itself specifies that some features may vary depending on the installed device.
This is precisely one of the aspects to consider when evaluating the new solution: BOMA GEMINI is not a universal application for any anti-theft system already present on the motorhome, but a tool designed to communicate with compatible Gemini devices.

Security becomes increasingly smart
The new feature represents a further step towards a more digital management of the motorhome's equipment. If for years the remote control has been the main interface of the anti-theft system, today the smartphone can take on an increasingly central role in managing the on-board functions.
BOMA GEMINI follows precisely this direction, focusing on a single interface and an immediate way of use. The app is free and, for iPhone users, the official App Store listing identifies it as an application developed by Gemini Technologies S.r.l. for vehicle security control.

For the motorhome sector in 2027, therefore, security does not depend solely on sensors, sirens and electronic systems, but also on their ability to communicate simply with the owner. BOMA GEMINI interprets this evolution by transforming the smartphone into a tool for managing the anti-theft system, with the aim of making an important aspect of life on board more intuitive: knowing that you can easily control your motorhome's security system directly from your phone and when you are in its immediate vicinity.
