Atlantis’ 2026 novelties

This year too, Atlantis is moving on an international stage: the Verona-based company will be showcasing its vehicles at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (from 29 August to 7 September 2025), which is not only Germany’s leading trade fair but also the world’s biggest event in the sector. And just a few days later, a revamped Atlantis stand will make its appearance at the Parma Motorhome and Caravan Show, from 13 to 21 September. There’s no doubt that Atlantis has played its cards well by carving out a niche in the A-class motorhome segment, producing high-end motorhomes in limited series, and has done so with a thoroughly modern approach, going well beyond a respectable, albeit traditional, craftsmanship.
For the 2026 season, Atlantis is offering a carbon fibre variant across its entire range. Having unveiled the first carbon fibre monocoque prototype back in 2024, named the Carbon 595, the company from the Veneto region is now giving customers the option of having every model built with either a fibreglass or a carbon fibre monocoque. To be precise, three base versions are on offer, each with a range of interior layout customisation options. These are the Carbon 595, measuring 595cm in length, the Carbon 645 at 645cm, and the Carbon 695, which comes close to 7 metres. The use of carbon fibre, a prized material that is entirely unusual in the motorhome sector, makes it possible to create highly resistant monocoques with reduced weight. Common to the entire Atlantis line-up is the Fiat Ducato mechanical base, and the various models, whether in fibreglass or carbon fibre, are built on the fine Al-Ko chassis, lowered, lightened and with a widened rear track. An Al-Ko chassis is genuinely rare on a compact vehicle such as the Carbon 595 and the Compact 595. It is precisely this lowered Al-Ko chassis that allows Atlantis’ low-profile motorhomes to feature a double floor without increasing the external height. The monocoque and double floor combination is a winning formula for ensuring a well-insulated, thermally efficient cabin. It’s also worth remembering that the monocoque construction offers significant advantages in terms of water resistance, impact safety, ease of repair and long-term durability.
For the 2026 season, Atlantis is also launching new interior layouts. There’s the 645 “Face to Face”, for example, which, thanks to its two facing sofas, delivers a bright, open and sociable living area. What’s more, this model, while still remaining under 6.5 metres in length, offers a split bathroom, with the shower cubicle separate from the toilet compartment, boosting flexibility of use. The 695 “Twin beds” model, meanwhile, is a great classic reimagined with a modern touch. And finally, there’s the Carbon 595 “Rear round dinette”, featuring a large, spacious and sociable U-shaped dinette located at the rear of the cabin. Atlantis’ ability to work on specific customer requests, creating bespoke models, is clearly demonstrated by the recent creation of a model for people with disabilities. Both the interior layout and the floor and shell structure were designed specifically for this purpose. The base vehicle is fitted with steering wheel controls. The door has been widened to allow a wheelchair to enter, a lifting platform has been installed, and the floor has been reinforced with honeycomb aluminium. Inside, there is a purpose-built bathroom and an electrically operated orthopaedic bed. With the start of 2026 production, Atlantis is also introducing a number of general improvements to materials and finishes. Atlantis production stands out, for example, for its HPL laminate worktops, the fibreglass sink with domestic-style taps fitted with an overflow, the fibreglass shower tray, insulated and heated tanks with an internal anti-freeze drain valve, and much more besides. This, then, is Atlantis’s high-calibre Italian craftsmanship, which will be on display on home soil at the Parma Motorhome and Caravan Show (13-21 September) and, even before that, at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf starting from 29 August.
