A new video explaining clearly and directly how the ONDA Connectivity system works is now available on the YouTube channel of AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics (VTE). This is the digital solution for the integrated, remote control of all the main on-board functions in motorhomes and caravans.

Designed for recreational vehicle manufacturers (OEMs), this system represents a fundamental step towards a fully smart and connected way of managing the vehicle, effectively turning it into a "smart home on wheels".

Thanks to ONDA Connectivity, every electrical component installed on board becomes accessible via an intuitive app, available free of charge for Android and iOS devices. Users can monitor and manage a wide range of functions in real time.

The system can also be controlled via an on-board digital touch panel. Everything under control, wherever you are.

In the new video, AL-KO VTE showcases concrete examples of the features offered by ONDA Connectivity: from the ability to switch on the heating or air conditioning before returning to the motorhome, to checking tank levels. Every function can be accessed directly from a smartphone, with dedicated widgets that make interacting with the system simple and straightforward.

Among the features shown are lighting management (light dimming), monitoring and control of the solar system, checking water tank levels, on-board energy management (via the BC122 battery charger, the PRM400 solar regulator, the NE325 DC-DC converter and the AM500 shunt), as well as control of heating, air conditioning and the fridge.

ONDA Connectivity also enables vehicle geolocation via GPS and checking of the vehicle's tilt.

Everything can also be controlled by voice thanks to compatibility with Alexa. Safety and data protection AL-KO VTE has paid particular attention to security: ONDA Connectivity has undergone cybersecurity testing carried out by specialist companies, which it passed successfully. Bluetooth pairing requires an initial connection, the Wi-Fi network is password-protected, and access to the cloud is via a personal account. Everything has been designed to guarantee maximum protection of users' data.
