Webasto is expanding its range of on-board comfort solutions for recreational vehicles by introducing the
new Cool Top Trail G-Series roof-mounted air conditioners, featuring the eco-friendly
R32 refrigerant. A choice that combines efficiency and sustainability, reducing environmental impact without compromising on performance.
The new R32 gas, also known as difluoromethane, has a global warming potential of 675, compared to 2,088 for the traditional R410A, thus ensuring a much lower impact. Not only that: it is more efficient, as it requires a smaller quantity of refrigerant to generate the same cooling capacity. The new range includes the
20G, 24G and 28G models, which are also half a kilo lighter than their predecessors, while keeping the price unchanged.
The
Cool Top Trail air conditioners cover cooling capacities from 2.0 to 3.6 kW, ideal for motorhomes, campers and caravans up to ten metres in length.
All models come with a heat pump as standard, capable of providing heating down to -5 °C, and guarantee reliable operation across a wide temperature range, from -5 to +50 °C.
Another key strength is quiet operation, which translates into comfort during the day and undisturbed sleep at night thanks to the night mode, benefiting both occupants and neighbouring pitches alike.
With the
G-Series, Webasto takes a further step towards sustainable climate control solutions, reaffirming its commitment to making motorhome and caravan travel ever more enjoyable and environmentally friendly.
