Project 2000, a Lippert Components company, offers two aftermarket products to further extend the equipment on board the vehicle and significantly improve its comfort and liveability Project 2000, a leading Italian manufacturer of steps, TV brackets and adjustableheight beds, presents two kits for enhancing comfort aboard motorhomes. The first is dedicated to those who have purchased a vehicle featuring rear bed with manual height adjustment. With this handy accessory they can easily and quickly convert it to electric operation. The second is called “Light & Comfort”, and is a smart system for managing some of the on-board services (automatic step opening, courtesy lights and more). Electric actuator for the 12595 bed
The already well established rear bed with manual height adjustment (12595 model) gains a handy electric actuator. The device is installed under the base of the bed and is managed, using buttons, from the garage. It weighs just 6.5 kg and retains the characteristics and performance of the manually adjusted bed, which weighs about 13 kg without electrical device. The travel remains 40 cm. The bed is distinguished by stable motion to any height without needing additional locking and by maximum liftable weight of 100 kg, with maximum static load of 400 kg. The electric actuator (Art. 579-867-0-VE09) is available for sale through Project 2000 retail network and can easily be installed in place of the existing mechanism. Freeing up space in the storage compartment-garage to stow away bulky items or equipment during the journey or, conversely, lowering the bed to get on it easily will be just a click away! Light & Comfort is a control unit that can interface with the motorhome’s lighting system and offer an extremely convenient courtesy service. A press on the remote control (anti-theft, central locking or an optional specific one supplied by Project 2000) lights up both the cab and the living compartment for 30 seconds. A second press opens the step and switches on the outside light too. This is an extremely useful function when you return to your motorhome in the evening, in the dark, in poorly lit areas. Light & Comfort also interfaces with the doors (cab and living compartment) and switches on timed lighting when a door is opened or closed as well. The remote control permits the installation of Light & Comfort on any vehicle type, even very dated ones, and thanks to the universal motors included in the kit, it allows the door locks to be operated and the motorhome to be equipped with central locking. Storage compartment flaps are also included. Light & Comfort can be installed on all vehicles, both if they feature vehicle locking and unlocking through the buttons on the keys and activating and deactivating the anti-theft system and in cases where none of the above is present in combination with the 12613/002 kit. At the technical level, Light & Comfort features 12 V DC supply, gradual switching on and off of lights and output for central locking motor management. The kit comprises rolling code remote control and receiver, power unit and 2 universal motors for central locking.
