Teleco announces a major update for its innovative Ultra Comfort 6000 air conditioner, which is now compatible with all vehicles built on the Fiat Ducato X290 chassis produced between 2014 and 2020, equipped with 2.3L or 3.0L engines.
These vehicles, widely used and appreciated across Europe (including Citroën, Peugeot, and Opel models based on the same chassis), feature a specific intercooler layout that previously prevented the direct installation of the Ultra Comfort system. To overcome this limitation, Teleco has developed a dedicated installation kit consisting of two custom-shaped pipes, a mounting bracket, clamps, and specific hardware. This kit allows repositioning of one of the original intercooler pipes, thereby creating the space needed to install the Ultra Comfort compressor unit behind the vehicle's front bumper. The new components were entirely designed and engineered by Teleco and are manufactured by a company specialised in automotive tubing, using the same materials and technical specifications as the original Fiat parts. As a result, no additional type approval is required, and maximum reliability is ensured.

We soon realised it had a much broader market potential, as it's also ideal for fixed-roof campervans and semiintegrated motorhomes up to 6.5 meters in length. Today, several major European brands already offer it as an optional feature in their catalogues, and we are very pleased with how the market has responded. We've also won several awards, including the prestigious German Innovation Award in 2024 and the European Innovation Award in 2025,” said Vittorio Simioli, co-owner of Teleco Group. The Ultra Comfort 6000 air conditioner can be easily installed without structural modifications on Stellantis vehicles (Fiat Ducato series 7, 8, and 9, as well as equivalent Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer, and Opel Movano models).
The system consists of two units: an interior unit integrated into the vehicle’s dashboard, and an exterior unit divided into two modules connected by flexible, sealed hoses. It operates in both cooling and heating modes (via heat pump), runs on 230V power, consumes less than 3A, weighs 28 kg, and is controlled via remote. The internal airflow reaches up to 360 m³/h, with three fan speeds plus an automatic mode, and temperature settings ranging from 16°C to 31°C.
