Laika shows a new A-class range. The name of the new Laika A-class will be
Ecovip. The root of the name Ecovip well explains one of the main concepts of the Laika philosophy, i.e. innovation.
The new Laika
A-Class – a top-level range – are developed for demanding customers. The philosophy that inspired the creation of this range is based on a combination of two factors: an extremely advanced construction technique – also designed for winter use – and a top-level Italian design. This means that Laika is not changing its positioning. On the contrary Laika will keep its strategic market position in the A-class segment by concentrating again only on luxurious A-class vehicles.
The new Laika A-Class show an exclusive design both outside – thanks to a “modern looking” front part with car-like front lights – and also inside, thanks to Italian style interior decoration. This allows the new range to show a strong personality. The
Ecovip A-class also feature interesting points of strength: functional solutions for top-level comfort on board,
quality materials, storages areas and many layouts for the customers.
This new serie comes with 9 internal layouts of varying lengths: one under 6 meters, five internal layouts with lengths of between 6 and 7 m., and three layouts measuring 7.49 m. All vehicles have
Fiat Ducato mechanics with a widened track.
The excellence of the new Ecovip A-Class
Exterior Design
The new Ecovip A-class can be recognized from far away for their distinguishing, luxury features. The rear and front lights are mutuated from the car-industry and the front part of the bodywork has exterior mirrors, with black finishes like “bus”, which give an impression of dynamic vehicles. The sinuosity of the external graphics backdrop to the large panoramic
windshield that allows a safe and comprehensive view of the road.
Very High Comfort
The interior of this new range is all geared to the comfort. The living area is practical and functional thanks to the floor at one level, without steps, the sofas of the living area with high ergonomic comfort padding and Laika original upholstery with anti-stain that allow the children a lot of freedom even in the living room.
In the kitchen, the automatic drawers, make operations easier to storage and the two sinks (present on the “L” kitchen) with a greater depth, finishes in chrome and covers, which also serve as shelves, give the possibility prepare a convivial gathering with friends or family.
To confirm the vocation of Laika in the field of feature / refined design, it has been used for the kitchen and the table, a prestigious material in matt laminate, with anti-fingerprint, scratch-proof and easy to clean. The internal height measures 2.05 meters and this makes possible to benefit of higher maxi-cabinets with high value chrome/satin handles.
The drop-down bed, with the” Ergonomy” mattress with removable and sanitezed covers that ca be washed in the washing machine, has two adjustable and indipendent reading lights, courtesy light and a dedicated USB socket, which is also found in the bedroom in the rear.
The indirect lighting, generated by light lines embedded in the drop-down bed, is the continuation of a play of light that accompanies the interior design of the new Ecovip A-class. The great system of Led lighting, all dimmerable, with separate switches, also present above and below the cabinets and above the cabin door and under the kitchen floor, creates the right atmosphere for every occasion.
The insulation is unbeatable in the new Ecovip A-class thanks to the use of hight-density
Styrofoam, the assembly of the ALDE heating or Truma Combi C6, the presence of the double technical insulating and heating floor made, as the roof, of high-quality glass-fiber.
The water system is well protected and in anti-freeze position, the heater, positioned in the central part of the vehicle, together with the numerous air vents in the cabin, ensures a homogeneous distribution of hot air throughout the environment. The ceiling of the new Ecovip A-class is coated with a special padded material, which invokes the Italian nautical style, pleasant to the touch and with a strong insulating effect.
This new range of vehicles presents clever and practical solutions to make life on board the new Ecovip A-class really comfortable. The storage of gas cylinders was placed in a lower position so that it is easier to do, as often as is necessary to make substitutions, the loading and unloading of the cylinders. The valve for emptying the waste water tank has been included in the technical double floor and is accessible from the living area, while the fresh water tank, located in the double floor, is easily accessible from the garage. To increase the acoustic comfort during the trip, Laika has cordoned off the area of the engine from the cabin increasing the level of noise in the vehicle.

Even in the range of the new Ecovip A-class the choice of using a high-tech lighting system plurivie with dimmer function to determine, not only a strong orientation towards a refinement of design, but also a careful selection of components to allow a constant functionality.
