Solar energy with maximum flexibility

The roofs of motorhomes and caravans rarely offer the large, perfectly flat surfaces found on buildings.
This is why AL-KO VTE is expanding its range of photovoltaic modules with new variants capable of adapting to the shape of the vehicle.
Among the novelties, a new module in the All Black series stands out, offering the highest level of efficiency currently available on the market.

Independence thanks to high-performance charging sources
Independence from external water and energy sources is part of the DNA of motorhome and caravan enthusiasts. Even in the smallest of recreational vehicles, tanks and batteries ensure living comfort even without external connections. Photovoltaic modules have now become an essential piece of equipment to support this independence. An efficient, high-performance charging source keeps batteries in perfect working order, with an optimal balance between cost and output. It is no coincidence that solar modules are now part of the standard equipment of motorhomes and caravans.
From classic rectangular design to All Black elegance
The most widespread design for photovoltaic modules remains the one with natural grey anodised aluminium frames and the typical rectangular cells, clearly visible even from a distance. In recent years, however, fully black modules have been gaining ground. Blending harmoniously with the lines of the vehicle, they enhance the visual appeal of metallic bodywork, alloy wheels and other high-impact design details.

The most efficient photovoltaic module on the market
With the new MFBC190, AL-KO VTE presents an All Black module based on Back Contact technology, guaranteeing the highest efficiency currently available. The electrical contacts are positioned on the back of the cell, creating a monochromatic front surface, free of grids or soldering. This design minimises losses due to internal shading of the modules and maximises the capture of sunlight: a key advantage, especially when the vehicle is parked under trees or in mixed lighting conditions. With compact dimensions (130x67 cm) and 60 cells, the MFBC190 module reaches an output of up to 190 W, a record in the recreational vehicle market segment.
Full integration with ONDA Connectivity
The charge controller of the MFBC190 module can be integrated via Bluetooth into the ONDA Connectivity app. This makes it possible to check the solar system's up-to-date performance data at any time, via smartphone or the ONDA Line Touch panel.

Flexibility that adapts to the shape of the vehicle
To adapt as well as possible to vehicle designs, AL-KO VTE also presents two modules from the new Flexible Series, both in All Black versions. The MFFL150 module, with its 33 solar cells, reaches a maximum output of 150W, while the MFFL190, fitted with 105 cells, reaches up to 190W. The distinctive feature of these modules is the flexible material of the support and the transparent front section. Thanks to this characteristic, the panels can bend to follow the lines of the bodywork, reducing the surface exposed to the air while driving. A further advantage is the possibility of fitting them simply by gluing, without the need for holes or screws.

Photovoltaics at the highest level
All three modules are based on PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell) technology, which ensures high conversion efficiency and therefore better performance. The anti-reflective treatment and high-transmittance materials, in glass or plastic, resist impacts and weathering. The back of the modules also offers excellent chemical, electrical and mechanical resistance, with an outstanding barrier against UV rays. These properties protect against moisture, insulate the electrical contacts and prevent oxidation. The modules comply with the strictest European standards and are covered by a 25-year warranty on declared output.

Complete installation kits
AL-KO VTE provides the most suitable mounting kit for each module, complete with a charge monitoring system, fixing devices and wiring. The entire range of accessories is designed to fit perfectly with the various models and optimise electrical output.
