It’s a significant milestone that Liberamente has reached: the Leisure, Entertainment and Outdoor Living Show is now in its twentieth edition. The event, hosted in the impressive setting of BolognaFiere, is scheduled from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 February. There will be plenty of motorhomes on display, from a wide range of brands, but as always there will also be themed areas dedicated to sport, entertainment, tourism, food and wine, and much more.

Twenty years is no small feat, and certainly not a milestone to be taken for granted: few trade shows can boast such longevity. This event has grown over time, becoming ever richer, and the pavilions of BolognaFiere offer an enviable city-centre location, an exhibition space that is both functional and visually striking. The anniversary will be celebrated with a record-breaking edition: nine pavilions, 50,000 square metres of exhibition space and more than 300 exhibitors ready to welcome thousands of visitors. Liberamente has become a firmly established date for families, travellers, sports enthusiasts and outdoor living fans alike, a show that has managed to reinvent itself edition after edition while keeping its winning formula intact: a broad, wide-ranging offer designed for all ages and for anyone who wants to enjoy their free time without limits.

The world of motorhomes remains a key protagonist, with a large exhibition area dedicated to the latest camper vans, motorhomes, low-profile and over-cab models from the leading brands in the sector. In 2025, Camper Club Italia, a partner of the event, brought 1,800 motorhome owners to Liberamente: a result that organisers hope to surpass this year, helped by the dedicated car park in the Parco Nord area, connected to the show by a shuttle service.

To celebrate the twentieth anniversary, on Saturday 21 February from 6.30pm to 10.30pm the Motorhome Owners’ Party will take place, an evening of gathering and conviviality dedicated to all the motorhome owners attending the show. The event is organised by the Pro Loco of Zola Predosa, who will offer a taste of Emilian excellence: bread, Lambrusco and mortadella. During the evening, commemorative plaques will be awarded to the exhibitors and associations that have contributed to the show’s growth over these twenty years of history.

The Sport Village returns and has been expanded further: this pavilion, created in collaboration with CONI Emilia-Romagna, is dedicated to promoting sporting activity and healthy lifestyles, with particular attention to younger visitors. Dozens of sports federations and promotional bodies will give visitors, and especially young people, the chance to get closer to and try out numerous disciplines, guided by federal instructors. It’s a great way to discover new passions and try sports that would otherwise be hard to come across. On Friday morning the area will be reserved for schools.

This twentieth-anniversary edition takes place at a special moment for Italian sport: Liberamente will close on Sunday 22 February, the very same day that the curtain falls on the XXV Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 at the Arena di Verona. An ideal passing of the torch between great champions and the young people who, at the Sport Village, can take their first steps towards new disciplines.

Liberamente’s rich programme is rounded off by several themed areas. The Tourism section welcomes tourist promotion boards, campsites, holiday villages, municipalities and small towns: a space designed for those seeking inspiration for their next outdoor holiday or wishing to discover lesser-known destinations and itineraries. Confirming the quality of the event, there is no shortage of offerings from foreign tour operators and tourism boards, among which the Slovenian Tourist Board stands out.

The Food, Wine and Shopping area, meanwhile, is designed for those who love craftsmanship, home products, local specialities and all the latest trends: a journey through flavours and items to discover and take home. Liberamente also hosts several shows taking place at the same time: Mantra, the wellness and holistic living festival, dedicated to those seeking harmony between body and mind through various disciplines, natural products and relaxation practices; Figurine Expo, the trade fair for sticker and card collectors from all over Italy; the Consumer Electronics Fair, a reference point for enthusiasts, hobbyists and bargain hunters on the lookout for the latest tech deals; and Mineral Italy, dedicated to minerals, crystals and gemstones.

Anyone who buys a ticket for Liberamente will also be able to access EUDI Show, the European diving show taking place at the same time within the exhibition centre.

Liberamente can be visited at the following times: Friday 20 February, 2pm–6.30pm, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February, 9.30am–6.30pm.
