Knaus Tabbert gets Renowned Design Agency back on board:

Knaus Tabbert GmbH, a leading manufacturer of caravans and motorhomes in Europe, and the pro industria design agency of Wiehl near Gummersbach, with immediate effect announce their cooperation. A long-lasting and successful partnership that had existed between 1986 and 2002 thus now sees its revival.  The cooperation covers the design of motorhomes and caravans for the complete Knaus Tabbert group, including the core brands KNAUS, TABBERT, WEINSBERG, and T@B. 

Developments that define new standards in the industry

"We are very happy to win back Manfred Lang and his well-established design agency for our group", says Gerd Adamietzki commenting the revived cooperation. "Our first cooperation era in part had resulted in revolutionary design concepts that had defined new standards in the industry. We now want to continue this pioneering work." The first milestone in the earlier cooperation had been the development of the KNAUS Traveller, the first motorhome made by Knaus Tabbert. The alcove model had marked the beginning of professionally designed leisure  vehicles in the industry. Another design highlight had followed in 2002 with the KNAUS Sun Liner, which had set completely new accents with its three-dimensionally curved and for the first time flush-bonded windscreen.  In addition to automotive motorhomes the successful cooperation also had resulted in young-style, versatile-use caravans such as the KNAUS Sport & Fun, or in models with truly amazing space like the first KNAUS Eurostar.

 

 

In the last years the pro industria design agency primarily worked for the Hymer group, and among others was responsible for the design of the complete Hymer motorhome range  - including the new ML-I – and for all Bürstner caravans and motorhomes, inclusive of the Grand Panorama. For Niesmann+Bischoff especially the last Clou-Liner is worth mentioning. As from now, however, the focus again lies on the products of the Knaus-Tabbert group, about which founder  Manfred Lang is especially pleased: "At Knaus Tabbert the spirit of optimism and the will to move forward a whole industry can be truly felt. I am greatly pleased to be able to actively participate in this again."
