The AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group consolidates its identity

It will now be under the AL-KO VT name

Published on 01/09/2026

The new brand identity debuts at the CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf, with a more focused and clearer brand architecture.
For the first time, the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group is presenting a new brand identity at the CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf. In future, the AL-KO VT brand will be at the heart of communications. The "VT" suffix becomes an integral part of the logo, underlining the company's positioning in the vehicle technology sector.

AL-KO VT becomes the central brand for vehicle technology
As part of the new brand architecture, the brands that have so far operated independently – E&P, SAWIKO, de Haan, Winterhoff and ALKO VTE, together with CBE, Nordelettronica and Toptron – will be progressively integrated into the AL-KO VT brand. The brands managed by AL-KO VT Australia will also be included in this consolidation process and, in future, will be brought together under the AL-KO VT brand.

The Group is thus concentrating its expertise in the vehicle technology sector under a single international brand.
At the same time, the brand architecture of the other business units is also being simplified. In the Hydraulics division, for example, CERMA and Fluid-Press will be brought together under the SAFIM brand. Brink, on the other hand, will remain the brand of the business unit dedicated to towing systems.

The future brand architecture will therefore be based on three clearly defined brands:

  • AL-KO VT for the core business and as the Group brand
  • SAFIM for hydraulics
  • Brink for towing systems

Day-to-day activities for customers and partners remain unchanged
The change concerns exclusively the brand identity. The organisations, expertise and locations operating behind the various brands, as well as the current portfolio of products and services, will not undergo any changes. Customers and partners will continue to have access to their usual points of contact and services. The new brand architecture reduces the complexity of the previous corporate identity and, at the same time, strengthens the visibility of the main brands, making them more easily recognisable at an international level.
This will make it easier for customers and partners to understand which expertise, products and solutions belong to the respective brands. At the same time, it lays the foundations for a consistent brand presence at an international level, across the various markets and regions.

"With the new brand architecture, we are consolidating our expertise under strong, clearly positioned international brands. With AL-KO VT we are making even more evident what we stand for: innovative and reliable solutions for vehicle technology, at the service of our customers and partners all over the world," explains Jörn von Ahlen, Head of Marketing of the AL-KO VT Group.

The debut at the CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf
The new brand identity will be officially presented at the CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2026. It will subsequently be introduced gradually across the various markets, locations, communication channels and other points of contact all over the world.
