Frankia. The traditional manufacturer of premium motorhomes is celebrating its 65th birthday and at the same time taking pioneering steps towards the future. The launch of the FRANKIA TOGETHER Coachbuilt marked the first milestone of the anniversary year - now the A-Class follows. The edition pays homage to the round seating group and sets new standards in design, quality and comfort. Both models will be on public display for the first time at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf from 29 August to 7 September.
65 years of FRANKIA: Craftsmanship ‘Made in Germany’
Since 1960, FRANKIA motorhomes have stood for the highest quality craftsmanship ‘made in Germany’. A hallmark of the manufacturer is the largest selection of round seating groups based on Fiat and Mercedes-Benz models. The first models with round seating group were developed in the 1980s and are still very popular today - no wonder, because hardly any other layout puts the focus so much on ‘being together’. In the new model year, FRANKIA is revitalising the round seating group: with the 4.5-tonne Coachbuilt FRANKIA TOGETHER in the A 680 and A 740 layouts and - now NEW - as A-Class with the I 680 and I 740 layouts.
FRANKIA TOGETHER: from bestseller to top performer
The TOGETHER edition takes round seating group models to a new level. In addition to a fresh exterior and interior design, the four layouts in two lengths impress with a great sense of space, many comfort upgrades, top standard equipment and extensive self-sufficiency (320 Ah battery as standard).
NEW: The TOGETHER A-Class - ‘loft feeling’ on wheels
Where the TOGETHER Coachbuilt scores in terms of room and spaciousness - the new A-Class TOGETHER goes one step further. With even more freedom of movement, space and light - especially in the front area - and an electric drop-down bed for lengthways sleepers. For both types, the edition offers maximum freedom of movement despite its compact dimensions (headroom 2.03 m, round seating group 1.79 m). A light-flooded interior with a large Heki (optionally with three panoramic windows) enhances the feeling of spaciousness. All four layouts are ideal for couples and are particularly dog-friendly thanks to the open spaces.
The TOGETHER style - inside and out
On the outside, the TOGETHER presents itself in a fresh design with sand-coloured accents. The key visual is a large inverted ‘U’, which symbolises the round seating group. The FRANKIA interior focuses on Mix & Match: two wood finishes (light/dark) can be combined with trendy styles, including cushions with an animal print and a designer floor in a concrete look. All upholstery is made of premium fabrics from Rohleder® and the TOGETHER logo adorns all four headrests (cab and seating group).

TOGETHER comfort is trend-setting: Newly developed upholstery and higher backrests with an ergonomic angle guarantee maximum seating comfort. Welting ensures ideal stability. Perfect for relaxing: The smart use of corners provides larger seating areas. A further upgrade is the use of drapes instead of curtains for a clear view. The centrepiece of the TOGETHER round seating area is the large sliding table. Entertainment is also taken care of - with the tilting and swivelling 32“ LED TV. It can be conveniently locked in place during travel or when not in use.
The special TOGETHER Coachbuilt
With its popular F-Line Coachbuilt models, FRANKIA has stood for the success of this special body type for years and is now continuing along this path. The ‘new’ FRANKIA Coachbuilt is characterised by a number of special features: Lengthways single beds with a length approx. 2 m each, extra space thanks to 15 % more room volume (compared to its predecessor), large Heki 3 as well as two side windows, dimmable ambient lighting and reading lights. The excellent thermal insulation (double-shell body) and the heating in the overcab area are perfect for travelling in winter.
