Fit Your Camper 2026

Success for the third edition in Bologna

Published on 14/04/2026

Fit Your Camper 2026 closes with a very positive outcome
in its first edition at BolognaFiere, from 9 to 12 April.
The event confirms the validity of a unique format that combines B2B days and
public opening, registering strong appreciation from exhibitors and visitors
and consolidating its role as a reference point for the accessories,
components and solutions sector for recreational and camping vehicles.

The third edition of Fit Your Camper has concluded with very positive results, having been held for the first time at the BolognaFiere exhibition centre from 9 to 12 April 2026, confirming and reinforcing its role as a key event for the world of accessories and components for recreational vehicles. The day and a half dedicated to professional operators also recorded particularly significant results, highlighting qualitative growth and broad participation from across the country.

We had proof of the strength of the new location, as professionals arrived during the B2B days from all over Italy, including from Sardinia and Sicily, thanks to the ease of connection guaranteed by Bologna Airport – comments Antonio Mazzucchelli, one of the organisers – Exhibitors confirmed that they had fully achieved their objectives, both during the days dedicated to professionals, where networking is a central element, and during those open to the public, when thousands of motorhome enthusiasts came to find out about the latest developments, discovering a rich and varied exhibition offering, including stands dedicated to sales”.

The response gathered during the days open to the public was excellent, and in a context that was anything but favourable, marked by rising fuel costs, an uncertain geopolitical situation and a particularly challenging calendar slot between Easter and 25 April, the event managed to exceed expectations, confirming its strong drawing power. The introduction of paid admission, a new feature of this edition, was not a deterrent, but rather helped to further qualify the visitor profile.

Paid admission was certainly a risk factor – explains Fabio Viviani, one of the organisers – but it was a necessary choice: an event of this calibre involves organisational costs that cannot be borne solely by exhibitors. The results proved us right: exhibitors report an extremely attentive, knowledgeable public, genuinely interested in the content of the show, with a strong focus on accessories, components and technical solutions”.

The logistical organisation was also highly appreciated by both exhibitors and visitors, starting with the free motorhome area set up at Parco Nord which, with a capacity of around 1,200 vehicles, recorded very high peaks. The free shuttle service ensured continuous, efficient connections to the exhibition centre, helping to make the visitor experience smooth and accessible.

The entire organisational machine worked effectively – the organisers add – thanks to the resources and energy deployed by BolognaFiere, which has believed in this exhibition format from the very beginning. The professionalism and significant presence of staff dedicated to ticketing, car parks, security, cleaning and services for stand-builders helped to create an orderly, efficient environment that lived up to the expectations of exhibitors and visitors alike”.

The events programme also drew great participation, successfully combining professional content with moments of entertainment.
Among the most popular events during the B2B days were the Meet & Match between content creators and companies’ marketing managers, and the Camper Professional Award, a recognition dedicated to the sector’s most prominent figures. During the days open to the public, cooking shows by chef Gianluca Gabanini, interactive activities such as the Camperisti Italiani game and themed seminars on safety and motorhome use engaged a large and attentive audience. There was also considerable interest in the presence of Diego Gastaldi, former Paralympic athlete and documentary-maker, who presented his new fully customised 4x4 vehicle at the show.

We are delighted to have believed in this project from the outset – comments Antonio Bruzzone, Chief Executive Officer of BolognaFiere – and the results of this event confirm that it was the right choice. We are already working well in advance on the next edition, with the aim of further developing the event and offering exhibitors and visitors an even more complete, sophisticated and engaging product”.

With this edition, Fit Your Camper takes a further step forward in its growth journey, consolidating a format that is unique on the European exhibition scene and laying solid foundations for ever more ambitious future developments.
