DexKo Global Inc. (DexKo) – a world-leading supplier of advanced chassis technologies, chassis assembly and hydraulic brake components – announces that its business unit AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group (AL-KO VT) has acquired Carsten Stäbler GmbH.

Carsten Stäbler GmbH, based in Waghäusel, in the German region of Baden-Württemberg, is a well-established specialist in retrofitting for suspension optimisation, vehicle payload upgrades, hydraulic levelling systems, tow hitches, as well as roof rack systems and gas tanks. The company is particularly renowned for its expertise in motorhome retrofitting.
Following the acquisition by AL-KO VT, Carsten Stäbler GmbH will now become part of AL-KO’s ever-expanding European network of service centres. Founder Carsten Stäbler will remain with the company and, together with his team, will support and guide the next stages of development.

Strategic expansion: the European network grows to ten locations
The Waghäusel site will be developed into a fully-fledged AL-KO service centre: a strategic step that expands the network to a total of ten locations across Europe. The aim is to further strengthen expertise, accessibility and service quality, ensuring a consistent customer experience even across national borders.
With this new service centre, we are strengthening our presence in Germany and getting even closer to our customers,” said Fred Bentley, President and CEO of DexKo. “They will benefit from the Carsten Stäbler team’s extensive experience, as well as the expertise brought by AL-KO VT”.
Harald Hiller, President and CEO of AL-KO VT, highlighted the strategic consistency of the deal: “The integration of Carsten Stäbler GmbH represents an important step in our European growth strategy. We are continually expanding our accessories and service network to offer customers across Europe a reliable, modern and high-performance customer experience”.
Massimiliano Ferretti, Commercial Director for Italy & Head of the Verona branch of AL-KO VT, further stated: “This new acquisition is yet another confirmation of the success of AL-KO service centres across Europe, and reinforces our commitment to creating an efficient and far-reaching network of support centres for our end customers, wherever they may be”.

AL-KO VT already operates several service centres in Italy, France, Austria, the Benelux countries, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and three locations in Germany.
“My company continues on its journey, now with even greater strength by its side”
For company owner Carsten Stäbler, the transition represents a carefully considered decision: “I wanted to entrust my life’s work to people I trust and with whom I have built a solid and lasting partnership over many years. My team and I will actively help shape the transition. The focus will remain on our customers’ needs and on a respectful, cooperative collaboration: aspects that make this step particularly meaningful for all of us”.
