RVSolar 48V Power System, a fully
integrated solution designed for quick and easy core connection in just 30 minutes on motorhomes, boats and off-grid systems.
The system, recently awarded the
IFA Innovation Award “Best in Tech for Good”, is now available on the official BLUETTI website.
The
RVSolar 48V Power System delivers up to
6,000 W (AC + DC) or 5 kVA, covering 99% of a motorhome’s essential loads, from air conditioners to 12V pumps and lighting. The self-heating LFP batteries, expandable up to 122 kWh and rated IP65, guarantee reliable power, extending the system’s service life in both summer and winter, even in extreme temperatures.
What truly sets it apart is its streamlined design, made up of just
five key components, allowing the central system to be configured and up and running in just 30 minutes. Thanks to an open communication protocol and compatibility with third-party systems, the RVSolar System allows flexible expansion and DIY upgrades, simplifying installation on caravans, camper vans, motorhomes, cabin cruisers and motor yachts.
The system fully recharges in just 90 minutes, minimising downtime in remote locations. Flexible charging options, from campsite hook-ups and solar panels to generators and vehicle alternators, ensure efficient recharging between stops.
System core ready in 30 minutes: simple installation, with no complicated technical wiring
The
pre-wired, all-in-one design allows wiring and system initialisation to be completed in around
30 minutes, saving up to
90% of the time compared with traditional, complex installations.
At the heart of the system is the
integrated 5-in-1 RV5 Power Hub, which combines:
- an inverter charger for appliances such as coffee machines and microwave ovens;
- an MPPT solar charge controller to optimise solar input;
- an alternator charger for fast charging while on the move;
- a DC converter for 12V/24V devices such as lights, pumps and USB ports;
- an integrated circuit protection system.
No professional expertise is required for installation: all the necessary wiring is included in the package, and users simply need to tighten the screws to connect the components.
The system automatically detects each device and completes the configuration, constantly monitoring
voltage and current to prevent wiring errors and protect the devices.
Open third-party integration for motorhomes and DIY projects
As an open system, RVSolar supports third-party batteries, electrical panels, solar panels and components via CAN protocol, RV-C standard and NMEA 2000, enabling seamless integration with modern motorhomes and boats.
Its key components – the RV5 Power Hub, the Epanel Smart Distribution Panel, the 48V B4810 LiFePO₄ battery and the 100W PV100FX flexible solar panel – can directly replace or upgrade an existing system.
This allows motorhome owners to upgrade used vehicles and DIY trailers, or replace individual components, saving time and money, while at the same time enjoying the creative and social satisfaction of their DIY projects.
Battery life of up to 17 years for safe and efficient power
Equipped with an integrated 48V high-voltage system, RVSolar achieves 30% greater energy efficiency than traditional 12V setups, with lower current, reduced heat and greater range.
Safety is ensured by the second-generation B4810 LFP batteries, automotive-grade and rated
IP65 against water, dust and moisture, ideal for demanding outdoor use such as wild camping, hunting trips and excursions to off-grid areas.
Designed to last, the battery supports over 6,000 cycles at 80% capacity, offering a service life of up to
17 years. The self-heating function ensures reliable performance down to
-20°C, making it perfect for demanding activities such as winter camping, or even ice fishing, and for coping with winter storms.
Smart control for motorhomes and boats
With the optional Epanel smart distribution panel and the
10.1” Epad central screen, users can control and monitor up to 4 AC loads or appliances and 20 DC loads in real time, without the need for manual adjustments.
Essential devices such as air conditioners, water heaters and fans can be assigned to dedicated circuits with remote control, timers and monitoring via the
BLUETTI app.
The built-in AI self-diagnosis and fault alerts provide complete peace of mind, while remote monitoring covers water levels, temperature and energy consumption. Quiet, low-maintenance and zero-emission, RVSolar integrates seamlessly with onboard generators, making it ideal for any camping activity, wild camping and overnight stops, and for motorhome adventures in general.
