This is the revamped
Arca America H 745 GLG, a motorhome that comes with a completely new look. Layout with twin beds, 4 sleeping berths, 4 approved travel seats that can even be driven on a category B licence, Fiat Ducato mechanical base and a decidedly rich standard specification: awning, solar panel, 2,000 W inverter, Truma Combi 6DE diesel heating with dual power source and much more.
On board we find a comfortable face-to-face living area, flanked by an "L"-shaped kitchen with a worktop made of acrylic stone and fitted with a tall compressor fridge. The bathroom is a walk-through type, with an independent shower cubicle of course, while in the sleeping area there are two twin beds over two metres long. And for storage? There are compartments, wardrobes and overhead lockers galore and a garage storage compartment, also accessible from the inside. But we don't just discover this motorhome at a standstill. Because our journey also crosses five corners of the Langhe, each one with a famous Big Bench to conquer.
First stop,
Castiglione Falletto: the castle, the village and the vineyards of the Langa del Barolo. Then
Dogliani, with a blue and red bench in the heart of the old town. In
Carrù, instead, the large gold-coloured seat is surrounded by four smaller benches, all colourful. In
Monforte d’Alba we find a purple bench, a stunning view over the village, a barrel and giant coloured pencils that add a playful touch to the scenery. And finally
Montelupo Albese, with Big Bench number 100, yellow and white, with an incredible view that opens out over the hills of the Langhe. Five benches, five different perspectives and an Arca just waiting to be explored, then.
