The specialists in comfort for recreational vehicles

Published on 24/07/2026

Comfort on board a recreational vehicle does not depend on a single element. Whether it's a motorhome, caravan or van, it is the result of many systems working together: the air that circulates even on the hottest days, the interior temperature when it's cold outside, the hot water available at the right moment, a compact yet functional kitchen, a fridge capable of accompanying even the longest stopovers. Behind each of these needs, specific expertise is required. It is precisely from this idea that the Airxcel model was born: bringing together different specialists to offer solutions designed for life on the move.

A true “house of brands”
Airxcel presents itself as a “house of brands”, a home of brands in which each entity retains its own name, its own history and its own heritage of expertise. Unlike other groups, which tend to standardise acquired brands under a single identity, Airxcel enhances their distinctive characteristics. Brands known to motorhome enthusiasts, manufacturers and industry professionals thus continue to develop products within their own area of specialisation, while at the same time benefiting from the solidity and international vision of the group. It is not simply a matter of bringing together multiple catalogues. The aim is to create a coordinated offering, in which different areas of expertise contribute to improving the comfort, efficiency and functionality of recreational vehicles.

Experience and specialisation at the service of travel
The value of the Airxcel model derives above all from the long experience of the brands that are part of it. Many of these names have long been known in the international market and represent a benchmark in their respective product categories. At the heart of the group's strategy we find collaboration with customers, suppliers and partners, strong technical expertise and a particular attention to service. Three important elements in a sector in which reliability, assistance and availability of components can have a concrete impact on the quality of the travel experience.

CAN: the kitchen on the move
CAN is the brand dedicated to the mobile kitchen. Hobs, sinks, ovens and integrated combinations are designed to make the most of limited surfaces, without compromising on functionality and attention to design. The brand's Italian experience translates into products capable of integrating multiple functions into the same space, an important advantage when every centimetre of the vehicle must be used with care.

Maxxair: air and air conditioning
In the field of ventilation, Maxxair is one of the best-known names among motorhome enthusiasts and professionals. Solutions such as Maxxfan Deluxe promote air exchange and help to reduce heat, humidity and odours during stopovers or meal preparation. Ventilation is complemented by air conditioning products and roof accessories, with the aim of making the interior environment healthier and more comfortable.

Heat and refrigeration
For those who use the motorhome even in the colder months, Aqua-Hot offers systems dedicated to heating and hot water production. The brand's long experience makes it possible to address a decisive aspect of winter tourism: maintaining a uniform temperature on board and good continuity of use. Among the most recent solutions, GEN 1D and Wave40 stand out, products that expand the Aqua-Hot offering dedicated to thermal comfort and the availability of hot water on board. On the refrigeration front, InVision comes into play, with fridges and freezers designed for recreational vehicles. Capacity, internal organisation and energy management are central elements for those who travel for long periods or spend several days away from equipped facilities.

Light, privacy and liveability
Comfort also depends on the management of light and natural ventilation. Skymaxx develops roof skylights designed to increase brightness and promote passive ventilation, while MCD specialises in blinds and blackouts for motorhomes. These are components that improve privacy, protection from light and interior liveability, especially during prolonged stopovers.

Different areas of expertise, a common vision
Kitchen, ventilation, air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and blackout are different areas, but within a motorhome they must function as parts of the same system. The Airxcel model allows each brand to maintain its own identity and continue to innovate in the sector it knows best. For those who travel by motorhome, caravan or van, it means choosing products developed by recognised specialists, supported by the experience and structure of an international group.

Airxcel Shop: the range online too
A selection of the group's solutions is available on Airxcel Shop, the European online store dedicated to motorhome enthusiasts, caravanners, professionals and van enthusiasts. The store brings together products for ventilation, air conditioning, kitchen and refrigeration, including Maxxair solutions, CAN products, InVision fridges and freezers, as well as accessories and components for installation. The product sheets show characteristics, dimensions and variants. Before purchasing, it is important to check compatibility with your own vehicle and to rely on qualified personnel when the installation involves electrical, gas or heating systems or structural modifications. The Airxcel Shop thus offers direct access to the solutions of the group's brands to update, complete or make your own motorhome more comfortable.
