I have to say that if Village Camping Mediterraneo in Cavallino Tre Porti is a 5-star establishment, then true 5-star establishments should be 8! I requested and booked a Plus pitch via email for myself, my wife, and my niece (over \u20ac100.00 per day). I always asked for shade on the pitch, and it wasn't a cost issue. I received confirmation via email and transferred \u20ac222.00. When I arrived, I discovered it was completely in the sun with sandy ground, and it was impossible to move the camper because it sank. I went to management and asked to change the pitch because 12 hours of full sun from July 13th to 20th, given the heat of those days, was simply unbearable. The manager's response was that I could leave. I pointed out that I had paid the deposit in advance and had asked for shade on the pitch, but the response was "the pitch is large enough to accommodate me comfortably"... I took hot showers without paying anything and I was able to use the hairdryer in the bathrooms. Fantastic pine forest. There is no shortage of clean pools and lifeguards. Friendly and nice staff. Restaurant with excellent cuisine. Super ice cream shop. Unfortunately there is nothing outside the campsite, but you can do some nice bike rides as there is no shortage of cycle paths. Large beach and there are games for children.
