The only positive aspect of this "campsite" is the restaurant, where we ate very well for absolutely average prices and with professional and friendly staff. As for the rest, calling it rundown is a huge compliment: 1) The bathrooms are as they were when the facility opened, with no maintenance whatsoever (torn doors, missing handles, filthy and battered mirrors, no shelves, encrusted shower heads, and so on...). 2) The access paths to the pitches are roughly patched with a bit of gravel here and there and overrun with the parked cars of the so-called "residents" who feel like they own the facility, so rather than a campsite it's an encampment with dozens of enormous shacks worthy of an illegal construction project, held together by wooden fences and tarps. 3) Clutter everywhere and a small junkyard of bicycles and scrap vehicles (old caravans, etc.) just past the entrance.
