The alternative entry is however difficult and, also, impractical for long-sized vehicles. The pine forest is very beautiful but sloping down and cannot be used by campers who have a restricted area with little shade. The campground is extremely neglected and the services, although clean, give a bad impression. The sea is within walking distance but not worth much, while the Scala dei Turchi is over 5 km away. Furthermore, the rate is not low.
