It was a wonderful discovery. The pool is immaculate, with three decks. Plenty of lawn around it, if you don't want to rent loungers. Attentive lifeguards. We personally selected a spacious pitch with electricity that handled our portable water heater, fridge, and all the other amenities perfectly. Not a lot of shade due to the naturally short maritime pines. The bathrooms and showers are new and impeccable, and the cleaning staff is omnipresent and friendly. There's a Bosch hairdryer hookup and a dedicated mirror. Separate sinks for laundry and dishes. Two dog areas. I didn't visit the beach precisely because I love the pool. The breakfast bar is superb, with excellent pastries from the wonderful and kind Jenny. The paths are always clean, and staff are always checking on the vending machines. What remains a constant, however, is the poor management of this place. The management is rather rude, the cleaning staff very unmotivated. I've visited hundreds of campsites in Europe and I'm very flexible, but one thing is sacrosanct for me: the services must be proportional to the price you pay. In this case, the price of the pitch (90 euros\/night in August 2024 for 4 people) is absolutely not worth the services offered. Otherwise, the sea is beautiful when calm (often rough). The pool is nice but always very full given the size of the campsite. The pitches are a bit awkward and narrow due to the presence of trees that are not properly maintained, which makes entry\/exit maneuvers difficult. There is a single area with recycling bins; for the rest, the campsite has no baskets or bins. The bathrooms are a bit dated and not exactly very clean, the shower system, with timed selection, becomes unpleasant when you are soaped and forced to go out to reactivate it. The pool is nice. To be a 4-star I expected something more, perhaps they have been assigned for the really nice bungalow houses; I would not have given more than three. There isn't much around and if you don't have a car only Lecce can be reached by bus. In 8 days, not a single person has been seen going through the avenues to clean up or pick up something. Showers are paid 0.35 (never seen in a 4-star campsite to pay them) and swimming pools for a fee (??). Lots of clean services with disinfectant gel, but many times full of water on the ground and on the sinks that are not exactly close and you often find yourself wet. Little general distancing. Exaggerated market prices and always queues in front of the reception (very slow). Lots of ants and insects on the pitches, nice big! Good animation. Often rough sea (it does not depend on them) but when it is calm it is crystal clear. Few fountains of drinking water and in the normal ones there is no sign "not drinking". Waste area of an exaggerated stench.
