It sits on the Magra River, whose mouth is near the Cinque Terre. It's heavily populated with permanent residents, but there are also plenty of pitches for touring campers. The pine forest area is mostly occupied by caravans with attached cabins of varying size. The amenities are excellent, though dated, but clean and functional. A good restaurant is available.
