Always ready to complain about too many small or too narrow areas, too much confusion, not perfect bathrooms, bad and paid showers: this weekend in early July I had the confirmation. I found the ROMA campsite in Ventimiglia by chance. It's perfect. So perfect it was deserted. Large pitches on coarse gravel bordered by seedlings, fairly shaded, very tidy, very clean and very green. Complete, clean and sanitized bathrooms. Settled on the edge of the structure and not bulky. Staff very kind and always available. Small but almost in the center and close to the sea, all within 15 minutes on foot! The only defect is that it is close to the Aurelia which is very busy during the day. It is also close to the railway, but you can't hear the trains. In the center of Ventimiglia, the bike is not needed. Perfect for visiting the entire C\u00f4te d'Azur by train (station 700 meters in the town center), bus to Sanremo every 15 minutes at 200 meters. We used it to see the Monte Carlo tennis tournament.
