However, despite their website announcing the opening period from 01\/03 to 30\/11, and despite a conspicuous "Open" sign on the entrance gate, the campsite on May 9, 2023 appeared desolately empty and barred. Also to be considered is the absolute lack of telephone coverage for many kilometres, both from the Pietralta side and from that of Paranesi.
