Description

A large, paved, and well-lit parking lot is available for a 15-km journey, taking about two hours there and back, on the picturesque wooden-carried train. The line (what remains) connected Usice to Sarajevo, passing through tunnels and ravines, with stops to take photos of the engineering feats required to overcome elevation changes of 300 meters. It runs three times a day (the last one at 4:00 PM, and costs RSD 600 per person).
There are two drinking water sources on site and there are toilets, a bar and a restaurant at the station.

Nearby

Tara National Park is just a few kilometers away. The border with Bosnia and Herzegovina is just a few kilometers away. The village of Mecavnik, built by director Emir Kosturica after filming "Life is a Miracle" here, imitating the typical houses of the area, has been transformed into a resort with a swimming pool, cinema, etc., and can be visited for 250 RSD/person.
