Parking near the Latvian/Estonian border, in a quiet residential area, found by exiting the A1-E67 at Ainazi and driving less than 1 km along the coastal road north towards Estonia. We stayed there overnight without any problems.

On the A1-E67, near Salacgriva, we had visited a rest area in a beautiful position, under the pines and sea view, but, in addition to the noise of the highway, we had found it dirty and used as a toilet by the tourists who had passed a few hours on the beach. For this reason we have decided to continue and look for a parking lot off the highway
