We stayed there for two nights (the no-camping sign only refers to the fact that you shouldn't open windows or put parking spaces under your wheels...). There's an excellent bakery\/pastry shop in town near the church and the bus stop for Lake Anterselva. I think it's worth stopping here and taking the bus to the lake. Then, if you're feeling adventurous, you can hike to the Stalle Pass and cross into Austria.
