Little or almost no shade, because the trees are young, but windy. Guests can use a small jacuzzi and garden furniture in the middle of the lawn which creates a pleasant place to stay as there is not much space for the awnings. There are no indications because the permits are awaiting: after the "Il Serchio" rest area (which is instead marked) continue to the end of the dirt road. Rate 25 euros for 24h. Historic center 1.5-2 km away and reachable on foot or by bike.
