Basically, if you don't have a smartphone and a credit card, you're stuck outside. The parking lot is always empty because I talked to some people who wanted to get in and they couldn't. Plus, you have to register and provide your credit card information! Lots of people have complained. I hope the city understands and changes the access system. The parking is very large and is partly shared with cars and the market, but without problems. Very comfortable and quiet for visiting the center. In the same parking lot the structures (containers I imagine due to the post-earthquake) of the Municipal Police and the Carabinieri, so you feel totally safe even at night. Very comfortable in the town center, reachable with a walk of 200-300 meters. Occupied and therefore not usable for a couple of nights during the Sarnano-Sassotetto race.
