The site is supposedly shaded and protected from the adverse weather. The place seemed quiet for a walk; the nearby park is well-kept. You can walk down to the river. If I had small children, it would be useful even just for a rest stop and to let them loose in a very safe place. And if your GPS recommends Via Raffaello to get out of there, AVOID IT. I managed to get out safely, negotiating the narrow passage with the invaluable help of my wife. I'm driving a Ducato, with both mirrors folded and just a few centimeters on each side.
