Enchanting landscape and in the evening the only noise is the stream. Sunday in August is full and after 4pm someone starts to leave and you can find a place to park your camper with a view of the stream. There is no service, such as loading, unloading and electricity. The cell phone was taking well. In the village there are bars and 2 groceries where you can buy local meats and cheeses. The road to reach Pian dei Lupi di Chiareggio is narrow in the last 5 km, but it is doable. On the Sunday of August 2020 that we were there, there were 12 campers and a caravan. In the morning there was the Provincial Police in the village but there was no problem with the open windows and leveling of the various campers. In the evening someone opened the awning, even if it would not be allowed (I don't know if in case of checks there would have been problems for them!). With many paths, you can get to the glacier in 2h 30 minutes. There was a single slaughterhouse between cars and campers. We stopped near cars waiting for them to leave to take their place in the middle of the afternoon.
