The Municipality of Menconico had equipped it with lighting, sockets and barbecue, but it never finished the access road (according to the manager of the hotel on site, Pernice Rossa). Visited on 31.07.2020: very tall grass, uneven ground, impassable access. A trap. Fortunately, they were (barely) hosted in the parking lot of that hotel. Beautiful place, wide opening after huge woods, dominant view. Absolutely avoid ascent from S. Margherita di Staffora (thrilling 5 km in dense wood, road 2.3 m wide, no pitches, slope up to 22%).
