What motorhome travellers say
Camper drivers consider the area a strategic base for visiting Rome, thanks to its proximity to the metro and nearby amenities. However, they complain about the constant traffic noise, the limited space between vehicles, and the inadequate restrooms with paid showers. The staff is friendly, and the 24-hour security is reassuring, but overall, it's not ideal for those seeking a relaxing stopover. Generated by AI from the text of user reviews
I'll start with the positives: an excellent location, close to the metro (10-11 stops to Piazza di Spagna). The negatives: a women's bathroom with a shower, so if you shower, you can't use the restroom (there's a men's bathroom and shower); showers are not included (1 euro every 4 minutes), but you have to be happy with hot water. We and friends with another camper booked two months in advance, asking to be close together, but they absolutely couldn't! But I don't think they even tried! Not recommended!
You can't charge 50 euros a night! I'll put up the camper! Noisy, next to a very busy road, with ambulance sirens every 15 minutes. I forgot, first they let me check in and set up at 11:00 am, and then they also asked me for an extra 7 euros because I checked in an hour early... I don't recommend it!
Equipped camper park, very convenient for visiting Rome. Centrally located, 200 meters from public transportation, and right outside are bars, restaurants, and a Burger King. The owner is very kind, but it's a bit pricey—€40 a night—but at least there are toilets, loading and unloading, and paid showers. Some reviews complain about noisy traffic at night, but honestly, where we were parked, we had no trouble sleeping at all! In fact, it was very quiet. 24-hour security.
Rest area in an excellent location for visiting Rome, with a nearby metro stop. The restrooms are a bit limited (one for men and one for women) for a rest area with more than 20 campers. They offer the option of staying after 12:00 for a fee, but we were denied due to the large crowds.

I'm sorry; no we could go there because the camper has a nautical drain and they do not accept campers with a nautical one, even if completely empty. Dunno, strange company policy!

Excellent rest area, perfect for those who want to visit Rome; metro a few meters away (Line A, Arco di Travertino stop), in a few minutes you are in the center. Very kind managers, clean and safe area, I recommend it absolutely! The area is located on the Tuscolana; for those arriving from the A1 (from north to south) follow the signs for GRA Nord, then Ciampino and take exit 21 Tuscolana; after about 4km you reach the area. Thanks to Tiziana for the reception staff.
Very convenient area for visiting Rome, metro station at 200 m. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Staff very courteous and available from the owner Tiziana to collaborators Daniela and Ramona. If you leave after 14:00, a supplement of € 7. Discounts with various membership cards.
Being central and on a busy street it is a bit noisy but it is very convenient for visiting the capital with a metro less than 100m. Friendly and helpful managers, they accept reservations. Nearby two supermarkets and various restaurants. Costs for showers euro 1 and on their website are well explained the rates they apply even in case of delayed exit. Timetables Drinking water and wastewater discharge 22-06 10-12 16-19 and are mandatory.
Excellent for visiting Rome, it is practically in the center, a few steps from the line A and bus station. Showers ok and services are not lacking. The management is well organized, they are very helpful. Good stay.
Metro at 100 meters! Convenient to visit Rome. Small area with all basic services, such as bathrooms and water loading and unloading. Much traffic even at night.
Very convenient stopping area like location, friendly and helpful managers, surveillance ok, the feeling is to be in a safe place. To be improved by adding dish washing area and above all panels for sound insulation along the side that faces via Tuscolana
Excellent for visiting Rome, connected by metro and about 200m south, Arco di Travertino stop. Large pitches on gravel, easy drainage, excellent hot showers (cost € 1). Nearby supermarkets (Ipertriscount recommended at about 700m to the south), bar right in front of the parking area, pharmacy, fast food, fuel distributors. Highly recommended
excellent area always open 200 meters from the metro and close to supermarkets, bars, pizzerias. Managers available and friendly. The best you can find to visit Rome. Very quiet at night.
About 200 meters from the metro station A that leads to the Spanish Steps and the Vatican. The area is equipped with services and showers with gate at night closing. It is near the Tuscolana, so it can be said to be noisy because you can hear the city traffic. Kind managers.
Excellent rest area. Metro nearby convenient to reach all points of interest. Supermarket bars restaurants nearby. Nice and helpful managers for any information. We will come back to find them
Excellent for services and location, flat on gravel, drinking water, draining water and gray, electricity, bathroom with shower, lighted and supervised.
