The new restrooms include two sinks for dishes, two sinks for clothes, bathrooms with two squat toilets, two showers, and four sinks for both men and women. Hot water is available in all restrooms, including dishwashing. Electricity and water are available on the pitches. A hairdryer is also available in the shower area. Reservations are recommended. Nearby, you can visit the Idro-Eco Water Museum and the Ridracoli Dam, just 3 kilometers away. Very good rates, around \u20ac20 per day. Pet-friendly. There is no internet access in the area, but the campsite has WiFi. Access is via a code (provided at check-in, directly from the Idro-Ecomuseum reception). The pitches are assigned "by the office" but it is not clear with what criterion. When I arrived out of 10 available only the 1st and 3rd were occupied and they assigned me the 2nd. Right in the middle of the only two occupied!? And besides, it was the only one entirely in the sun, while there were others in the shade. What's the logic? I immediately pointed out that I would have preferred to change positions but they replied that the other 7 (currently free) were already booked. However, the next morning, until 10 when we left, only a van and a tent had arrived, so 5 pitches were still left free. To get to the ticket office of the dam you have to cover about 1.5 km on a paved road and then, by shuttle, go up for another 2. Another possibility is to take a path that starts directly from the museum, really very nice! We have identified a second, shorter path that starts from the crossroads a little further downstream near the bridge, again to get to the dam ticket office.
