This rest area offers spacious pitches, many of which are shaded. It's ideal for accessing the bike path (Ortona is 12 km away and Torino di Sangro is 8 km away). Unfortunately, the bike path is closed after Torino di Sangro due to a landslide, so to continue, you'll need to take the main road or take mountain bike trails. The area has prefabricated restrooms and a sheltered outdoor shower block: two hot showers for 50 cents and two free cold showers. There are sinks for dishes and laundry next to the showers. Clean restrooms. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. You can pre-order groceries or bread, which will be delivered to your pitch. The on-site bar and adjacent self-service restaurant are open only on weekends in low season. We called to see if there was space, and they were incredibly kind and sent us all the directions we needed to get there. A beautiful, quiet spot, with trees providing wonderful shade. Flat pitches have electricity hookups for virtually every pitch. Outdoor showers with hot water, and bathrooms with basic amenities and hot water. Outdoor sinks for dishwashing. Convenient, easily accessible loading and unloading area. A washing machine and dryer are available for guests. Two minutes from the sea and the bike path, and there's a restaurant just outside the campsite. The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. Absolutely nothing is missing. The owner told us he wants to expand the area and finish fixing up some things. Considering it's only been open six months, I'd say the service offered is already amazing.
