The parking lot for visiting the Clonmacnoise site has barriers. The area in front is reserved for coaches (not to be occupied). Parking is possible along the R444 road, at the entrance to the site. Although the entrance is on a bend, a vehicle can fit there without obstructing the road.

If you want to visit the monastery of Clonmacnoise, a magical and unmissable site, there are no other alternatives. The road that leads from here to the N62 is narrow and forces you to stop every time you cross a road that goes in the opposite direction
