Quiet and cool in the evenings, about a 20-minute drive or bike ride from the center of Cannes. I opened the roof in front of the gendarmerie and no one said anything. There's a small lake nearby for birdwatching. A bit of a downhill climb, but acceptable. The GPS from Cannes takes you onto a very narrow and winding road (used with a camper, but not for cautious drivers).
